Lots of life!

Thanksgiving!

We retired from the Army in 1995.  We moved to the Seattle Washington area.  This is were my wife's family is from.  5 of the 6 of her parents children lived here.  There were a lot of cousins. 
Now the family is getting bigger.  The family is scattered.  For the first time in 23 years we are going to go separate ways. Now we're going  to try every other year.  Our house on the odd years.

 This is what it looks like before we start to eat, below.  We've been holding it at our home since we moved in our current house.  before that we had Thanksgiving between our house, Oma's house or the church.

Surgery

I had surgery on my right foot.  2 toes were amputated.  It has slowed me down a lot.  I'm up but! I have to stay off my foot.  I have a couple of things to get around.  I can't drive, so I'm at the mercy of my family.. They have helped a lot!  I'm thankful for them!

Laura & Spencer's wedding

2016 was the year that Laura & Spencer were married.  They were sealed in the Seattle Temple.  They had their reception at Ady & Kirsten's house.  It was a wonderful day.  The weather was great.

July birthday party, 2016

As usual we held our July birthday party at our house.  There are a lot of birthdays in July.  It's becoming a yearly thing to do.

 We got to take part in blessing of Emma.

 Thanksgiving of 2015

We had the chance to go to Utah with Cris & Cat for their blessing of Tylor.

To think, this is not all of the family! it's great when we get together.  Some of the members of the family, with my side also, have left us to the spirit world.  Being at the temple we are promised that our families are forever if we just try to live the Gospel of Christ!

I just love this photo.  This is at Jamie's wedding Reception in our back yard.  Look how young those kids are! This is Aug. of 2007.  There was a time that their were a lot of young kids around.  Just when they grow up, the next generation of kids are getting pretty big.

These 2 photo's are 10 years apart.  It was 1999 for the 1st one & 2009 for the 2nd one.  We will need to take one in 2019.  Look how much this family has changed!!!!!!

When we 1st got married we lived in Texas.  So did Jack & Judy.  We would see each other during that time.  It was nice to have some family nearby.  This is at Jack & Judy's house.  This was about 1984.

Ice Cream opa.  In the family only the men scoop ice cream.  Of course at opas freezer he had 36 gallons of ice cream to choose from!  He would even serve you Fruit Loop Sundaes for breakfast if you stayed the night!

In 2000 we went on a cruise.  It was our 1st one with Princess Cruise's.  We left out of Fort Lauderdale.  It was a week long.  We went to Princess Cays, Talum,  & Sting Ray City.  The weather was great.  The entertainment on board was great.  Of course we loved the food.

This photo is from Sea World in San Antonio.  The lady to the left is giving the group a dirty look.  Pam didn't like it to well.  Bob & Karen came down a couple of times.  We would also go up there to Los Alamo's neck of the woods also.  It was a fun day. Pam is pregnant with Jacob.

This is a photo from 1995.  The Sirrine's just moved here.  This was a Sunday gathering.  We always got together.  The girls always had fun together.

This is our Lake Mowich hike. Latter on some of the family went on this hike.  It was a good hike.  It wasn't very hard or wasn't easy either.  This was in 2002.  We stopped off in Bonny Lake's Albert sons to get food.  I never thought that in 2 years we'll be living there!

This is our family "Moses!"  He is telling us the family rules.  Of course we didn't listen & he got mad.

This is one of our hikes at Otter Falls.  The kids had lots of energy.  I think this is the time when Sarah, Boonie stepped on a hornets nest!  That created a stir!  It certainly wore out the dogs & kids.  We made a couple more hikes on this trail.  It's a fun hike.
