The gathering point.

During the summer months we would spend time outside. We would all get together on Saturdays & eat, play, tell stories, talk about what happened that day or past week. Then we would eat again & start all over. We didn't need a reason, but we usually had one. We would meet at different places namely the compound, oma/opas house, the church. We would enjoy the sun.

A BIG JOB!!!

Back in 2002, the kitchen at oma's & opa's had a make-over. The family spent countless hours working on this project. It even got to the point that people were yelling from their houses for us to "SHUT-UP!" It was a very tiring project. Everyone had jobs above the work on the kitchen. I think it turned out great.

You don't see this room a mess often. Except when it comes to food. But it didn't look like this.

Back again.

This is back in 1987. This is when we were on our way back from Germany. We of course ended up in Washington. We went to Vancouver.

I thought I would go way back. The picture above is Chris & Linda. They were born in 1983. This is at their house in Texas. Below is Thanksgiving, same year. This is at one of our friends place in Killeen Tx.

This below is in Austin Tx. The park is named Zelker Park. I think I spelled it right. It's a strange but fun place. The spring that Pam & Ady is at is natural & stays the same temperature all year not matter how hot or cold it gets. Ady & I went swimming once in it. The park is divided in half. One half is yoga people & the other is 30 something people.

This blog is a little of a 2-3 thing s. Thanksgiving, New Years Day. 1st picture I don't know.

St. Thomas, a fun place to be!

Right after 9/11, Oma, Jeff, Val, Pam & I went to St. Thomas. We practically had the plane to ourselves. We flew over cause we were able to have free tickets thru Pam's & Vals work & they were almost giving away the hotel rooms. We went & rented a car. We were able to go all around the Island. We had our favorite spot to eat. Then after 3 years we were able to go to Coki Beach which was our favorite beach. Until on the same trip we found Trunk bay. You could imagine that we had both beaches to Notice the fence around it?our selves. We did lots of snorkleing, eating & sunbathinNotice the local ward building? Notice it being fenced in?Val was the 1st to get up. Here is proof. I was 1st to go, But I couldn't get it to turn around. No one took pictures of it.Even Oma had to try!We miss Oma!g.
