The lovely ladies
We're coming off at a port here.
Since it's been 10 years + since we've been on this cruise, I went to my journal. I remember that I'm missing 6 months. So, I'm winging it. This cruise was really fun. It's something you only dream about. Then that dream comes true. On the trip was Pam/Mike, Oma/Opa, Jeff/Val, & Ady. We left here & flew into Miami. I'm not sure what hotel we stayed at, but I'm pretty sure Jeff will know. I'm hoping he'll do a 2ND blog with fresh photo's & more detail. We wondered around that part of Miami which wasn't safe. It was a bad part of Miami. Ady, Jeff & I weren't sure if we would make it back from Burger King alive. It was right across the street. As we were sitting there waiting to check onto the ship, we couldn't believe that we were there. The ship looked HUGE, & they have made bigger since then. We boarded & the fun began. For those who haven't cruised yet, the ship has lots to do. If you don't want to do anything you can. If you want to stay busy, you can. It's great. We went on the Eastern Caribbean. The Ports of call were Cayman, St. Maartin, St Thomas, & Nassau. We made the best of everything. When we went on shore on St. Maartin & St Thomas we rented a car. What surprised us was Oma. The guy approached us on St. Maartin & said come into my office. The office was a 2-3 ft. wall, then whipped out his briefcase & card stamper & started to fill out the paperwork. Then Oma whipped out here credit card. We told her that we hoped that he doesn't charge her more than once! She was brave. I'm going to let the pictures tell you the fun we had. I shot 9 rolls of film, about 5 made it to the photo album, I cut it down to about a roll & a half. It was hard to pick out the ones everyone would enjoy. So, enjoy!Shuffleboard was really fun.French night, Escargot!Who could forget this guy from Raiders. "Good evening Dr. Jones."Coki Beach; our favorite
