Camping & Hiking #1

This is going to be a fun blog. The guys in this family loves to camp & hike. Lately though it got away from us. We all have different schedules, Sun/Mon. off, Sat/Sun. off, Thur/Friday off. It's hard to get together & do the things that we like to do. The 1st 3 photo's is when we were out in the Gig Harbor area. This was in 1998 time frame. A long time ago! It was the 4th of July time frame. The year before was at the Ensign Ranch.. I have an earlier blog about that one. The 1st photo is we were putting rocks all over Oma. The next 2 are at The park in Redmond. We watched the fireworks from there.
The next few are at Mowich. (sp?) The year was 2002. Jeff & Jacob is in this photo. What we did was drive out Friday afternoon, stopped at the Albertson's in Bonny Lake to get snacks, we couldn't have a fire so we couldn't cook. I didn't think that in 4 1/2 years later I would be living there & seeing Albertsons a little more often.

Above it's Jeff & Jake, below also. The bottom we were able to see the Port of Seattle.
This is Jake & I.

Does Jeff remind you of somebody? This is at the lookout tower. I think it was at 5900 ft.
This is Jake in an arm of a tree. I thought it was interesting to take a photo. It looks like a weight lifters arm.
This next hike I can't remember what year. Ady, Jake & I went out on a day hike. I can't remember exactly where this is at.

Balancing act.
Modern day Moses coming off the mount. This is part of the John Wayne Trail.

This is the trail that we've done twice. I would love to do it again with my dog. I don't have any pictures of the hidden falls. I'll do that next time. That was when Sarah stepped on a bee nest, that was fun. This is the group that went this time. 2002 also.
A bridge that was on the way.
This is the bridge that was at the 5 mile mark, our turn around point. Also where the 2nd set of falls. I went to this place before with our scouts & the falls had more water. The next time I post about camping & hiking I'll post the 2nd of these trips.
The end of the day. We are done!
