Disneyland

The 1st few years of Alaska Airlines we did a lot of Disneyland. It was every 2 years & sometimes in between. This was in 2000. There was our family, Jeff/Val & their kids, & of course Oma. It also the year that they had a new ride, the rocket ride. It was to replace the people mover. It didn't last long, cause the next time we went, it wasn't there. This is when we were going in. One of the many changes of the park. This is the Horse Shoe Revue. It was a good show & food.Oma & her friend. My favorite picture of Josh. This is the Rocket ride. Short lived BUT! We lived it.Our favorite McDonald's.Looking out over LA. Below, Oma with the best Apple pies.

  1. Although I was never at Disneyland while the Rocket Rods were around (the two trips I've taken there were in 1987 and 2006) everything I've heard seems to indicate that they were a disaster. Frequent breakdowns, slow loading, low capacity, long lines... And even when they were running, it seems that most people would have rather they just left the Peoplemover there. No wonder they didn't last. At least Disneyworld still has theirs...
